The international football Federation (FIFA) is considering the removal of Greece from participation in international competitions. This was reported by journalist “bi-Bi-si” Richard Conway in his Twitter account.
“FIFA is saying that Greece could be disqualified if the local government does not take steps to eliminate all types of violence that ensure the safety during the national competition,” wrote Conway.
This message appeared after the Russian businessman Ivan Savvidi who knew Greek club PAOK, ran onto the field during the game with AEK. He was dissatisfied with the work of the judge and threatened him, while at his belt hung a pistol in a holster, which the entrepreneur periodically touched.
As a result, the Greek League was suspended, and police issued a warrant for the arrest Savvidi. In accordance with the laws of the country, nobody has the right to carry by on stadium a firearm. Nevertheless, his detention is connected with the breakdown of the match.
