The Russian defense Ministry has conducted a vote for the best name for the newest cruise missiles of unlimited range with a nuclear power plant. The results have been published on the Ministry’s website.

At the moment, the majority of survey participants voted for option “Zeus” (736 votes). Another 683 people chose the answer “Nezhdanchik”. Among the favorites were also “Stalin/Joseph Stalin”, “Swallow”, “Fox”, “Hummingbird” and “Palmyra”.

Five people liked the option of “Skunk”, also six “Surprise”. Not one user voted for the names “Argument” and “Glory”.

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov proposed to call a rocket in honor of the victims in Syria, the Russian military. Presidential aide Vladislav Surkov advocated “Givi”, the Deputy of the state Duma from LDPR Mikhail Degtyarev — “Dove of peace”.

During his address to the Federal Assembly on March 1, President Vladimir Putin told about new samples of Russian weapons. Among them mentioned heavy duty compact nuclear power plant for cruise missiles, which, according to the head of the state, can overcome almost any distance and is unpredictable for the enemy trajectory. Thus it is invulnerable to anti-missile and air defense. However, the names of the new weapons yet, and Putin invited all who wished to choose it on the website of the Ministry of defense.
