Russian women in third time has won gold and silver Paralympics

Russian Ekaterina Rumyantseva won the third gold medal at the Paralympic games in Pyeongchang, winning the biathlon race at 10 kilometers in the class of “standing”. She covered the distance in 34 minutes, 10 seconds, reports “Interfax”.

Second place went to Russian Anna Milenina with a time of 35 minutes 30 seconds. She made two mistakes. The top three winners locked Ukrainian athlete Lyudmila Lyashenko.

March 12, Rumyantsev and Milenina also received gold and silver medals in the ski race freestyle 15 miles among the standing athletes. On March 10 they took two top step of the podium, winning the race six kilometers.

The international Paralympic Committee allow Russian athletes to the competition individually after the extension of the suspension from the Games.

The Paralympic games are held in Pyeongchang from 9 to 18 March. The Russian delegation consists of 75 people. 30 athletes and six athletes leading.
