The British Ambassador in Russia Laurie Bristow summoned to the Russian foreign Ministry on Tuesday, March 13. This was reported by RIA Novosti in the Department.

No details the Ministry said.

The Embassy of the United Kingdom confirmed that Bristow will visit the foreign Ministry. He is expected to meet with first Deputy foreign Minister Vladimir Titov.

Earlier, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow has requested access to the case file of the former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia, who was poisoned nervously-paralytic substance in the UK. The Minister pointed out that London had to turn to Russia for clarification, “before you put ultimatums”.

On 12 March Prime Minister of Britain Theresa may said that Skripal and his daughter was poisoned with a substance “Beginner”, allegedly developed in the Soviet Union. She demanded from Moscow to provide all necessary materials of the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons. Otherwise, the politician threatened to equate the situation “the use of unlawful force by the Russian government against the United Kingdom”.

Skripal and his daughter Julia was found unconscious on a bench in the Park in Salisbury on the evening of 4 March. They were hospitalized, currently they are in a coma.
