British media banned from working in Russia if London will impose sanctions against Russia Today channel because of the “business Skripal”. On Tuesday, March 13, said the official representative of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in the program “60 minutes” on the “Russia 1”.
“Not a single British media outlet in our country will not work, if they close down Russia Today”, she said.
Earlier, British MPs urged to revoke the license of the RT, if it is proved the involvement of Moscow in the poisoning of former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia in English Salisbury, RIA Novosti reported.
On 12 March the British Prime Minister Theresa may said that Skripal and his daughter was poisoned with a substance “Beginner”, allegedly developed in the Soviet Union. She demanded to provide all the materials Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons. Otherwise, the politician threatened to equate the situation “the use of unlawful force by the Russian government against the United Kingdom”.
