Russia does not have enough milk of their own production, so the animal will gradually come to the fore. On Tuesday, March 13, said the Vice-Premier of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich, reports RIA Novosti.
“Irrigation, proper use of fertilizers, crop rotation should remain the center of attention, however, to the fore gradually all the same should reach the farming, we have a shortage of milk in the country, about 25 percent of us do not have enough volume of consumption,” he said.
According to him, Russia has now produced 31 million tons of milk, but for their own consumption must be at least 40 million tons. This difference kompensiruet supplies from Belarus. “Our friends, of course, pleased with this, but we would like ourselves to achieve the necessary volumes,” — said Dvorkovich.
February 26, Rosselkhoznadzor announced a ban on Belarusian dairy products. Subsequently, the date of the ban was postponed to March 6 and after March 15. As reasons were mentioned the insecurity of the products to the consumer.
