The President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte was threatened human rights defenders from the UN in case they begin to investigate cases of human rights violations in the country. About it reports The Telegraph.

“If these assholes are gonna come here… there’s the crocodiles that eat people? Then feed them those sons of bitches,” commanded the leader of the country, speaking to journalists.

Such a statement he made in response to the plans of the defenders to check the actions of the police, who by order of the President launched a major fight against drug traffickers.

According to official statistics, since the beginning of the campaign against drug traffickers in 2016, the police killed about four thousand Filipinos. Several thousand were executed by masked men on the streets. The police say that the fire is opened only in case of resistance to arrest. However, eyewitnesses refute that.

Duterte also called for the guards to ignore the questions from the media about the fight against drug crime, not to betray themselves. “Just answer that obey orders from the top. I told you, I take full responsibility for your actions,” he said.

Filipino leader known for his controversial statements. Previously, he has vowed to kill officials involved in drug trafficking. In February of this year, he urged soldiers to shoot through the vagina protesters women, and in November of 2017 admitted that as a teenager during the stabbing killed a man.
