Businessman Alexander Filippov, who is serving a sentence in prison “Vladimir Central”, applied to the Frunzenskiy district court of Vladimir with a lawsuit against the management of the institution. Filippov and his lawyer Mikhail Ovchinnikov argue that the administration is torturing prisoners with loud music, according to “Zebra TV”.

Ovchinnikov said that his client and other prisoners more than a month have from morning to evening to listen to Love Radio. The lawyer of the businessman notes that such actions cause the prisoners not only psychological but also physical suffering. According to him, these past few weeks-being a 42-year-old Filippov deteriorated and he developed symptoms, indicating the possible approach of a stroke. Earlier the man already had two small ischemic stroke. He also suffers from chronic cerebral ischemia, hypertension and some other diseases.

Alexander Filippov was sentenced to 4.5 years in a penal colony in June 2016. He was found guilty of the misappropriation or embezzlement of property in especially large size — it caused the company “Vladimiroblgaz” damage by 81 million rubles.
