Teacher’s salary in 2017 increased by an average of 1.6 thousand rubles. I spoke to the Minister of education Olga Vasilieva at the Board meeting, reports TASS.
“In absolute terms the average wage increased in 2017 compared with 2016 to 1.6 thousand rubles in General education, to 4.2 thousand rubles of additional education of children, 2.4 thousand — in vocational education, 8.7 thousand rubles — in higher education,” — said Vasilyev.
According to the Minister, wages in General, vocational, higher and further education associated with the implementation of “may decrees” and will occur in stages. Earlier the same was said by the Minister of labour and social protection Maxim Topilin.
