The Central election Commission of Russia will promptly submit all materials on violations in the presidential elections in the Prosecutor General’s office, said the CEC Chairman, Ella Pamfilova. Her words leads TASS Thursday, March 15.
“I have this morning had a conversation with the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. All those who spit on the law, regardless of their position up to the governors, all the materials will promptly be submitted to the General Prosecutor’s office, I’m sure that the prosecution will very quickly take measures,” — said Pamfilova.
The CEC called on all voters to make an informed choice. “But if, God forbid, someone other, careless administrator has decided to use his official position and will attempt to offer you your options, I urge everybody to immediately let us know”, she said.
The Russian presidential election will be held on 18 March. Besides the incumbent President, Vladimir Putin, to the post of the head of state has claimed seven candidates. The President will be elected for a term of six years.
