The group “the Crystal-Lefortovo”, which owns the vodka brand “Putinka” has said it will continue production of this alcoholic drink. The company also does not intend to stop the production of vodka under the brands “Old Moscow” and “Capital”. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the Director of marketing of the company Alla Postnov.
“They [brands “Putinka”, “Old Moscow” and “Capital”] will continue to be produced and sold,” she said.
Postnova added that in addition to these brands, the company has about 20 brands, due to which “the Crystal-Lefortovo” intends to support the volume of production and sales.
On 15 March, the newspaper “Kommersant” reported that the group “the Crystal-Lefortovo” stops the production of alcohol from-for a difficult financial situation on the background of the bankruptcy of the distribution company “Status group”, which a year ago, she joined sale. The newspaper reported that one of the companies of the group already closed, and the other two will stop work soon.
According to Postovoi, the company does stops work at two sites. However, she noted that the group will continue to work on their other sites, and at sites where it has interests in industries.
“The crystal-Lefortovo” has existed since 1999. Vodka “Putinka” produced in 2003. By the end of 2017, according to market participants, the group was the fourth largest producer of vodka in Russia.
