The Central Bank revoked the license of the Rostov Bank

The Bank of Russia revoked the license for banking operations of the Bank “Credit Express” (Rostov-on-don), reported on the website of the regulator. Credit had occupied the 372 position in the banking system of the Russian Federation. The Bank participates in the Deposit insurance system.

As noted in the CBA, in the activities of “Credit Express” was established numerous violations of requirements of the legislation on money income. In addition, the Bank’s own funds decreased significantly, creating a threat to the interests of creditors and depositors.

Earlier, the Central Bank has twice imposed restrictions on attraction of deposits in respect of “Loan Express”.

In late February, the rating Agency ACRA released a review in which he noted nervousness and decreased confidence in the banking sector will continue during the 2018 “on the background of nationalization of the banking system and the distortion of the competitive field”.

Analysts pointed out that the share of public sector in the banking system of Russia by 1 January 2018 rose to 70 percent and may continue to increase in the coming three to four years. Against this background, the government has to spend huge amounts of money to save private banks, and default decapitalized weak state.
