Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov won the mass start at 15 kilometers in the final stage of the world Cup in the Swedish Falun. About it the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

Bolshunov has come to finish with result 36 minutes 59,8 seconds. Second place went to the Swede Calle Halfvarsson (with a delay of 1.3 seconds). The three of prize-winners was closed by the Italian athlete Francesco De Fabiani (+3,1). The victory was the first for 21-year-old athlete on the world Cup.

Bolshunov also played in the Russian team at the Olympics in Pyeongchang. In South Korea the Russians managed to win four medals — three silver (team sprint, relay race and time trial for 50 km) and one bronze in the individual sprint.

The final stage of world Cup ski racing will continue until March 18. In the overall standings, the Russian team took eighth place. The three leaders make up the teams of Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
