The former Senator from Chechnya and businessman Umar Dzhabrailov was asked to return his prize pistol, seized by court after shooting in a luxury hotel in the centre of the capital, but later changed his mind. On Monday, may 7, “the Tape.ru” reported in a press-service of the Tver court of Moscow.
“The decision of the Tverskoy district court of Moscow of may 7, the proceedings on the petition for resolution of the fate of the evidence in the criminal case against Dzhabrailov terminated in connection with his opinion”, — noted in press service.
1 February it became known that Dzhabrailov acquired shooting “Patriot” in Izmailovo district in the East of Moscow.
Former Senator 29 August 2017 started shooting at the Four Seasons hotel opposite the Kremlin. He was charged with hooliganism committed with weapons or objects used as weapons. According to some, in the time of the shooting Dzhabrailov was under the influence of cocaine. He was later sentenced to a fine in the amount of 500 thousand rubles.
