On Everest plan to set a world record by opening at the height of 3500 meters above sea level temporary restaurant. About it reports Fine dining lovers.
The launch of a project called Triyagyoni will be held at the end of may 2018. It is planned that a group of four chefs and ten visitors of the restaurant will make an eight-day climb to the mountain. Along the way they will gather ingredients to cook a very special meal of seven dishes in the base camp.
“The biggest problem is, of course, the altitude, which affects everything,” shared the chef from India Sanjay Thakur. “The taste is very weakened, so dishes will have to season a lot of spices”, he added.
The cost of participation in gastro-expedition will be 5600 $ (354 thousand rubles at current exchange rate). The price includes flights, accommodation and meals, as well as six hours of free climbing every day. According to participants of the project, all funds raised will be donated to charitable organizations.
