Scheduled for the end of 2018, the launches from the Eastern may cancel because of the unavailability of satellites, said “Interfax” a source at the cosmodrome.
According to the interlocutor of the Agency, the rocket “Soyuz 2.1 a” and “Soyuz 2.1 b”, which will launch the spacecraft “kanopus-V” 5 and 6 and “meteor-M” 2-2″ ready.
“But they will run only on the readiness of the payload. With regard to the implementation mechanisms of import substitution, as well as a number of other reasons for having problems with the schedule the manufacture of vehicles, possible delays,” — said the source “Interfax”, adding that, probably before the end of the year, Eastern will launch one missile instead of two.
The first launch from the East took place on 26 April 2016, the second launch 28 November 2017 failed: “Soyuz-2.1 a” fell into the ocean along with 19 satellites. The third start was in normal mode on 1 February 2018. The third old also endured: it was originally planned for January.
