The former striker of England football Gary Lineker has expressed dissatisfaction with the amount of the fine imposed by the International football Federation (FIFA) on the Russian football Union (RFS) for racist shouts of the fans during the friendly match between the national teams of Russia and France. About this he wrote in Twitter account.
“22 thousand pounds! England was fined 35 thousand for what we put poppies! FIFA should understand the priorities,” said Lineker.
Earlier, on 8 may, the FIFA disciplinary Committee RFS has fined on 30 thousand Swiss francs (29 million dollars) for racist remarks. The punishment was imposed for the words to the French player Pogba Fields and Ousmane Dembele during a match on March 27.
