Russian reporters expelled from Ukraine for the report on the Day of Victory

The security service of Ukraine expelled from the country by the journalists of Russian TV channels, is preparing a report on the celebration of Victory Day. This was reported on the website of the Department.

Deportation has been an employee of the First channel and TV channel “Russia”. “According to the plan of the Russian propagandists shot Valentina Solovieva and Olga Yurieva videos planned to use to discredit Ukraine before the world community and the spread of misinformation among the population”, — stated in the message.

The investigation was conducted in the framework of combating “the intervention of the aggressor in the domestic media space”. The activity of these channels is limited in the country according to the decree of the President of Petro Poroshenko on may 15, 2017.

Solovyov was forcibly deported to Russia, St. George’s — in Kazakhstan. Both of them are forbidden to return to Ukraine in the next three years.

As informs the First channel, Solovyov was detained on the morning of may 9 at the exit of the hotel. The journalist had to prepare material about the Immortal regiment March in Kiev. “Reporter of the First channel was accused of preparing biased report, and this despite the fact that the actual filming and preparation of material for her, apparently, not allowed even to begin” — said in the message.

Earlier it was reported that during the campaign “Immortal regiment” in Kiev were detaining people, and fight because of the emergence of Soviet symbols. Poroshenko called “Immortal regiment”, “division of Armed forces of Russia”, whose mission includes support for hybrid war against Ukraine, EU, U.S. and “around the world”.
