Anonymous hackers hacked the website of the Federal Agency for international cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) and began to threaten the local population. This drew the attention of the publication TJ.
The attackers gained access subdomain prev.rs.gov.ru where previously housed the old version of the website of Rossotrudnichestvo. They put out an appeal to the Agency staff in English.
“Welcome, Roskomnadzor. Your latest destructive act against the Russian Internet made us believe, that you are just a bunch of incompetent and brainless worms. You should not be able to continue the useless vandalism. Consider this our last warning. Your Anonymous”, — stated in the message.
Below, hackers posted a humorous comic strip, which depicts a young man with a poster “Anus itself block, Roskomnadzor” and possible further action in case of receipt of such notice.
The representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo and Roskomnadzor has not yet commented on the situation with the hacking of government website.
In mid-April, Russia began mass block of addresses hosting providers who, according to Roskomnadzor, are used to bypass the lock Telegram. As a result, suffered considerable resources, for example, on April 27 for several hours was blocked addresses “Yandex”, Fasebook, Twitter, “Vkontakte”, “Classmates” and other services. Access Telegram must be blocked in Russia by the decision of the Tagansky court of Moscow, where Roskomnadzor appealed after the failure of the messenger to convey the FSB encryption keys to the users conversation.
