The Supreme court (SC) of Russia has obliged the courts to interact with the owners and authors of online resources, which threatens to lock. About it reports “Interfax”.
“In the course of preparing [such] the administrative case to the trial judge determines other persons, the rights and legitimate interests which may affect the court decision”, — stated in the appeal decision made by the court in the course of the proceedings on the website bitcoininfo.ru.
According to published information, the court is obliged to involve the owners of Internet resources, and sponsors placed on them to participate in the proceedings and also to inform them of the time and place of the hearing.
This decision was taken after a complaint from the owner of the site bitcoininfo.ru Nicholas Technoserve, which did not allow for the consideration of the case about locking his own resources at the request of prosecutors. The appellate court stated that Technoserv “is not a person involved in the case, to participate in the proceedings did not involve the issue of rights and responsibilities, the court is not permitted”, so to appeal the decision of the court of first instance he can’t.
