The Israeli military responded to the shelling of their positions in the Golan heights with Syria. The air defense system of the Republic was hit by two rockets, reported Reuters.
One of the leaders of the army press service Israel Yonatan Conicus confirmed this information at the briefing, reports Reuters.
“We respond, but yet can not lead”, he explained. Conicus added that, according to them, the Israeli positions were attacked by Iranian forces, “al-Quds”, located in Syria.
The losses are not yet known.
Earlier it was reported that the Iranian military in Syria released via the Israeli-controlled part of the Golan about 20 missiles.
