Several hundred people staged a protest in the centre of Tbilisi, in opposing the operation of the interior Ministry. It is reported RIA Novosti on Saturday, may 12.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs George Gakharia. The reason for their discontent was the last in the night of may 12 raids in night clubs “Basiani” and “Gallery”, which resulted in the arrest of eight people, selling drugs. Another 62 people were detained for administrative offenses and was soon released.

“Today we must all defend our rights, we believe that neither the club nor the festival nor peaceful action is not carried out only for the parties, we are not drug addicts. Be free!” — said one of the organizers.
