Ukraine has threatened to hit the black list Europe

Ukraine may fall into the black list of Offshores countries of the EU, unless ratified the Convention on combating tax base erosion and the withdrawal of profits from taxation (MLI, Multilateral Instrument) until the end of 2018. This is stated in the message of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance.

As reported in Department, at present the President of Ukraine is waiting for the authorization of the Minister of Finance on the signing of MLI, then the agreement must be ratified by Parliament.

At the end of 2017, the Finance Ministers of the European Union in the framework of measures to address the issue of tax evasion amounted to a blacklist of 17 countries who refuse to cooperate with the EU in the field of tax reporting. One of them entered the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Bahrain, Mongolia, Tunisia and Panama. Was also composed of the gray list of countries included 47 States, tax rules which do not meet the standards of the Union.

MLI — international Convention for the suppression of tax evasion, signed by 80 countries. As noted in the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Kiev the signing of the document will allow to make changes to all or some existing Convention for the avoidance of double taxation.
