Police detained two previously convicted residents of the Krasnodar on suspicion in armed assault on the family of former Vice-Governor of Kuban Murat Akhedzhak and his mother’s murder. On Wednesday, may 16, an informed source reported to “Interfax”.

“During carrying out complex quickly-investigative actions on the territory of urban-type settlement of Yablonovsky was detained on the eve of Sergey Ponomarev born in 1968 and Ivan Kononenko born in 1984, both residents of Krasnodar, both previous convictions, including for serious crimes,” — said the source.

On 10 may it became known that in the village Satuk in Adygea found dead the mother of former Vice-Governor of Krasnodar territory Murat Akhedzhak — Louise akhedzhak born in 1939.
