The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) initiated several cases on the fact of rising gasoline prices in the regions. It is reported TASS with reference to the Supervisory authority.
“Currently FAS 7 issued warnings about the inadmissibility of violation of the Antimonopoly legislation in the oil market, filed the case in several regions and directed guidance to manufacturers about the need to respect the rules of conduct on the market”, — quotes Agency the message of Department, which notes that the FAA has tightened its control over prices in the regions of Russia.
The Agency also assured that conducts daily monitoring of the wholesale and retail prices throughout the country. The monitoring results are sent personally to the Vice Prime Minister on energy issues Dmitry Kozak.

From the beginning, the cost of gasoline rose at the inflation rate, however, in the period from 28 may to 1 June, prices have soared by almost ruble. The price increase coincided with the increase in oil prices, as explained by Putin, the oil companies sought by the Russians to compensate for lost revenues, because to sell oil abroad in such conditions, it was simply more profitable.
The head of FAS Igor Artemyev to solve previously offered to fill in Russian gasoline — that is, to dramatically increase fuel production to increase supply and thus reduce prices.
