If Baghdad does not solve the problem of terrorism, Turkey may launch a military operation in three Iraqi cities. In an interview with CNN Turk said Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to him, Turkey can strike at Sinjar, Kandil and Mahmur — a key breeding ground for terrorists.

In mid-March, Erdogan declared their intention to destroy the Kurdish formation in Northern Iraq, which Ankara considers terrorists.

“We monitor the emergence of the terrorist nests to the North of the country at every available opportunity. Soon we will inflict on them a hard blow”, — said the Turkish leader.

In the fall of 2016 between Baghdad and Ankara escalated political conflict. Then the Prime Minister of Iraq said that Turkey risks provoking a regional war, while continuing to deploy troops on foreign soil.
