The Ministry of foreign Affairs of China has told about what gifts presented to Chinese President XI Jinping to Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

The Chinese leader gave the Russian counterpart of the ancient musical instrument — the ancient harp guqin and a clay statuette “Niranjan” with the face of Putin.

On the evening of 8 June, the Russian President presented to XI Jinping as a gift a Russian bath made of Siberian pine. It was noted that the frame is made from 200 year old cedar from the Altai. In addition, Putin presented the President of China Siberian nuts, honey and tea, said Chinese foreign Ministry.

June 8, Putin during his visit to China, cooked and tasted local food. In Tianjin he first helped to make traditional pancakes in which to wrap the meat and vegetables after the Russian President learned to make a local delicacy — goubuli similar to dumplings.

A day earlier it was reported that Putin the first head of state was awarded the Chinese Friendship award — the highest state awards.

The Russian leader will stay in China until June 10, he takes part in the SCO summit in Qingdao.
