American skier Bode Miller announced that his 19-month-old daughter Amy died. The entry with the photos of the girl he has published in his Instagram.

“We’re devastated. Our little Emmy was gone yesterday. We never thought we would experience such pain. Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived every day to the full. Our family respectfully requests not to interfere in private life in this painful time,” wrote Miller.

As reported by ESPN, the girl drowned in the pool at the neighbor of the athlete. He and his wife were there at the party. The doctors tried to save Amy, but they failed to do so.
