The President of the United States Donald trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong UN signed the document in the first bilateral summit in Singapore. About it reports Reuters.
After the signing ceremony, trump said that the preparation of this document involved the goodwill, but both sides will be impressed with the results, and now relations between the US and the DPRK will develop in a completely different plane. He called the signing of a joint document “an important, comprehensive and detailed” that can solve “big and dangerous problem.” In addition, trump said he was willing to invite North Korean leader to the White house.
In turn, Kim Jong-UN, thanked trump for the historic meeting and stated that the parties decided “to leave the past behind.”
Details of the document have not been disclosed.
The first summit of the USA-DPRK took place on 12 June at the hotel Capella resort on Sentosa island in Singapore. The dialogue began with a handshake of leaders of the countries technically in a state of war since 1953.
