The inhabitant of Chelyabinsk has ceased to retire and learned that “died” when he came to the branch of the pension Fund, according to Znak.com.

According to the publication, in the establishment of a 59-year-old woman explained, that the dead are not entitled to the payment. It turned out that the pensioner confused with a real dead woman — her namesake-countrywoman, who died March 13. The confusion happened due to the negligence of the investigator who went to the description of the body, and recorded false data.

The pensioner had to prove in court that she was alive. Careless law enforcement officer brought to disciplinary responsibility. The woman said it plans to seek moral compensation for what happened.

June 14, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev announced the increase in the retirement age. In 2028 he will be 65 years for men and 63 years for women. According to the head of the government, such reform is necessary for faster growth of pensions themselves.
