The Russian government will increase the VAT rate to 20 percent. On Thursday, June 14, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the government meeting, reports RIA Novosti
“We came up with the following solutions, which are offered for consideration. The first will change the rate of value added tax. Now, the basic VAT rate of 18 percent. It is proposed to make it 20 percent,” — said Medvedev.
