The London court accepted the claim of relatives of Dr. Lisa and the other victims of the crash of Tu-154 to Sochi

London’s high court accepted the claim of relatives of Elizabeth Glinka, as well as musicians of the Alexandrov ensemble and military journalists who died in the crash of Tu-154 near Sochi that belonged to the defense Ministry and flying to Syria. This was reported by “Kommersant” lawyer Igor Trunov.

The representatives of the victims require from the company’s insurer SOGAZ compensation according to foreign standards, since the tragedy occurred in the Commission of international flight.

A lawsuit in London was filed by the solidarity group SOGAZ and its partner insurance firm Amlin MS registered in the UK. Only a lawyer turned 78 representatives of the victims during the crash of the Tu-154. Protecting your interests in the English court refused to close six passengers from among the staff officers of the defense Ministry. Not to press their demands the relatives of eight members of the crew, as they are not covered by passenger insurance.

All of the collected materials the plaintiffs are a barrister, a lawyer, is entitled to defend the interests of their wards in the English superior courts. As suggested by Trunov in the near future, all stakeholders will be called in a London court for a preliminary consultation. The judge will offer them a possible settlement before litigation. Most civil disputes in the High court, according to counsel, are resolved at this stage.

SOGAZ believe that the current process will make the relatives of the victims of the crash, only worse because of misguided expectations.

On their way to Syria the Russian defense Ministry aircraft Tu-154 crashed into the Black sea on 25 December 2016 shortly after taking off from airport Sochi (here, the Board, EN route from Moscow Chkalovsky, landed for refueling).
