Estonia has demanded to stop the construction of “Nord stream-2”

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Estonia Sven Mixer believes that the construction of the pipeline “Nord stream-2” must be stopped. With this statement he made in an interview with the newspaper Die Welt.

According to the Minister, the gas pipeline is not an economic but a political project. “This is the lever with which Russia wants to interfere in European politics,” — said Mixer. “In the interests of Europe to stop him,” — said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Estonia.

On 28 June, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy paruby said that the illegal us sanctions against all participants in the “Nord stream-2” is a real solution that can stop this project. Parubiy assured that the U.S. Congress and in the White house “are very conscious of the danger of the construction of “Nord stream-2″ and consider the mechanism of sanctions”. He stressed that this project is not pursuing the interests of business or Commerce, and is the “energy aggression”.

“Nord stream-2” gas pipeline project between Russia and Germany, which will run under the Baltic sea. The total capacity of the project is estimated at 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The pipeline is scheduled for late 2019
