Crimea belongs to Russia is unambiguous, this issue was not on the agenda of the talks of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his us counterpart Donald trump, said the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov. It was quoted by RIA Novosti on Monday, July 2.
“The Russian President repeatedly stated and explained to his interlocutors that on the agenda the issue of the Crimea, can not be and never will be, because Crimea is an inseparable part of Russia”, — said Peskov.
Press Secretary of the Russian leader noted that despite the differences in the positions of Moscow and Washington on many issues, there has been growing awareness of the need to foster bilateral dialogue.
“You see now that the political will were still strong and is being strengthened with the understanding that the presence of such controversial issues should not be an obstacle to establishing and expanding bilateral dialogue, in this case at the highest level”, he concluded.
30 June it was reported that Donald trump does not preclude the recognition of Russian Crimea region.
