Five people were able to submit documents for registration as candidates on a post of the mayor of Moscow. This was told in the Moscow city election Commission, said the Agency “Moscow”.
Signatures of voters and municipal elections in due time passed the current mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who is running for elections as an independent candidate, the head of the municipal district Taganskaya Ilya Sviridov (“Fair Russia”), head of the Duma Committee on physical culture and sport Mikhail Degtyarev (LDPR), former state Duma Deputy Vadim Cumin (Communist party) and the Deputy of the Moscow city Duma and the infamous founder of the construction company SU-155 Mikhail Balakin (“the Union of townspeople”).
To register as a candidate to the representatives of the parties had to collect at least 110 signatures of municipal deputies in the 110 districts of Moscow, independent candidates also seek the support of at least 36 thousand voters. The members of the election Commission will now have to check all petitions and then will be determined the final list of candidates.
All of intent to compete for the mayor’s seat, said more than 30 people, among whom were former state Duma Deputy Dmitry Gudkov, head of Krasnoselsky municipal district of Moscow Ilya Yashin, a journalist Anton Krasovsky, the head of the Moscow branch of the party “Yabloko” Sergei Mitrokhin, a farmer and businessman Herman Sterligov, the leader of group “metal Corrosion” Sergei Spider Trinity, the actor and showman Nikita Dzhigurda and others.
Earlier Trinity had accused the Army that burned the signatures he had gathered to register as a mayoral candidate.
Elections of the mayor of Moscow will pass in the uniform voting day on 9 September 2018.
