The largest Croatian private company Agrokor owes Russian state-owned banks 1.4 billion euros. About it reports Reuters.
At the hearing on the settlement of the debt of the retailer attended 3069 of the company’s creditors who have filed a claim but have not received a refund. The Sberbank, Agrokor needs € 1.1 billion, VTB, the company owes about 300 million euros. For a deal that will hand the company to creditors and holders of bonds, voted by the owners of 80 percent of the debt.
The restructuring of Sberbank’s share is 39 percent. VTB is the holder of 7 percent of the company.
Agrokor, the largest Croatian private company working in the field of food industry and retail trade. The holding was founded in 1976 as a company for growing flowers and seedlings.
In 2015, the savings Bank has allocated the Croatian company 600 million euros. The loan was granted for seven years, the funds had to go to refinance bonds and current activities.
