Sony Pictures Entertainment tried to publish the trailer of the film with limited edition “Killer Kali” (Khali the Killer) on YouTube, but accidentally posted the picture as a whole. It is reported by Ars Technica.

The video remained free for several hours, after which the company removed it from his channel. This time was enough to imageboard users of Reddit discovered a mistake of employees of Sony.

“Another trailer that reveals the plot of the film,” joked one of the visitors of the page. Other viewers shared their theory that the actions of the company — a deliberate marketing ploy that is unlikely to attract a lot of noise.

Sony representatives have not yet commented on the incident.

“Killer Kali” — a brutal crime drama about a Hitman who has decided to take one last job before retirement. The picture was released on DVD in November 2017. Sony was hoping that the trailer will encourage viewers to buy the DVD or watch it on one of the streaming platforms.
