Aslan Gagiev, the organizer of large criminal group, involved in the killing at least 60 people have pleaded guilty in the incriminated acts and refused to testify. On Wednesday, July 4, said “the Tape.ru” the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.
According to her, Gagieva charged under articles 210 (“Organization of criminal community”), 209 (“Gangsterism”), 105 (“Murder of two and more persons committed by a group of persons publicly dangerous method, from mercenary promptings or on hiring”) and 222 (“Illegal arms trafficking”) of the criminal code.
According to investigators, a native of Georgia Gagiev (better known among his countrymen and in the criminal world as Jacko) organized three gangs that combined into a single criminal organization. Each of them acted in their region (North Ossetia, Moscow and Moscow region), but periodically went to “business”trip.
The first gang Gagiev created in the late 1990s: it mainly consisted of veterans of the Georgian-Ossetian and Georgian-Abkhazian war, including prosecutors and two police officers. They specialize in committing assassinations. By the beginning of 2000-ies the activities of a criminal community has spread to the capital region.
Just on account of the community, 49 of the crimes, which were killed 60 people. Among them — law enforcement officers, officials of the Republican and municipal authorities, businessmen and former members of the criminal community.
Gagiev was issued by the Russian competent authority of Austria and imprisoned. The investigation of his case leads the Main investigation Department of the TFR in the North Caucasian Federal district.
