Ukraine is ready to consider the transfer of 13 of its citizens, including the chief editor of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky, in exchange for the arrested Ukrainians. This was stated by first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s representative at the talks in Minsk, Irina Gerashchenko, reports channel 112.
Gerashchenko said that the Russian Commissioner for human rights Tatyana Moskalkova going to visit 13 Russian citizens held or imprisoned in Ukraine. Vice-speaker of the Parliament mentioned only the names of Russians: Wyszynski, E, Jamieb, Liquid, Kamalov, Marchukov, Michalczewski, Osminin, Satarov, Zenica, Sukhanov, Shibaev and Yurevich.
The representative of Ukraine said that today will inform the Russian representative in the Trilateral contact group on the readiness of his country to such an exchange.
Earlier, Kiev agreed to exchange 23 citizens of Russia, held in Ukraine, in Ukrainian, allegedly political prisoners in Russia. At the same time Vyshinsky was not in the list on the exchange.
Wyszynski was arrested in Ukraine on may 17 of this year. He is accused of support of the unrecognized republics of the Donbass and treason.
