Women and children in a Russian prison will be more likely to bathe and watch TV

In detention in Russian remand prisons (SIZOs) women and minors were allowed to bathe twice a week, reports RIA Novosti.

The corresponding order of the Ministry of justice came into force on Friday, July 6.

They also put a TV and fridge. This item is contained in the same document as binding.

For the rest of the prisoners hikes in shower is provided every seven days.

In a press-service of the Ministry, the Agency reported that the decree was made after contacting the head of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

At the beginning of summer in detention centers, according to the FSIN, there were approximately 9 thousand women. Current data on the number of juvenile prisoners the Agency is not provided.
