The Ambassador of Ukraine in Austria Alexander Shcherbakov said that the description of the Crimea in the material of the Austrian newspaper Die Presse too delicious and tempting. About this he wrote in Facebook.
“This article is like a message from a parallel reality. Yes, we are very happy for the “rich Russians”. Yes, the sea really warm. Yes, cypress and acacia are very beautiful. Yes, dumplings are delicious there. And Yes, Crimea is a really nice place, which was worth the trip. Before, but not now,” wrote Shcherbakov.
According to him, to write about the Crimea, not mentioning about the prohibition of entrance to the Square after visiting the Peninsula through the territory of Russia, is not only untrue but also irresponsible.
Crimea and Sevastopol became part of Russia after the March 2014 referendum. The majority of voters of the residents supported the decision. Kiev refused to accept the new status of the region.
