The Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine has denied the existence of the letter of the unfired anti-tank Javelin during the exercise in the Ukraine. This is stated on the Agency’s website.

“The purpose of this fake document fabricated by Russian secret services to discredit the military-technical cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America. It is no coincidence that this false document was issued on the eve of Vladimir Putin’s meeting with Donald trump,” — say the national security Council.

On 6 July it became known that the head of the Ukrainian defense design Bureau “Luch” Oleg Korostelev in a letter to the head of the NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov complained about the quality of American anti-tank systems delivered to Ukraine at the end of April. In particular, the defense argued that the “cause of failure “Javelin” was the problem with propulsion engines separate complexes. Revealed that the serial life of the engine ended, but was extended a special resolution before sending it to the Ukraine.”

On the arrival of American anti-missile systems to Ukraine it became known on 30 April. On may 22 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said about their first test, indicating that the weapons would be used in the case of Russia.
