About 15 people were killed and nine were wounded in the shooting at the bars in the Mexican city of Monterrey. Armed men nearly simultaneously attacked six institutions. On Sunday, July 8, reports The Sacramento Bee.
Massive attack happened on Sunday night. The police haven’t arrested anybody yet. It is noted that the attack probably committed due to conflict between two warring drug cartels.
Most of the victims found in the bar Rancho Viejo — they killed five men-visitors and the waitress. Two more people were injured. In other places were shot one or two people.
As the newspaper notes, the last time such a mass shooting has occurred in Monterrey in 2011, when 20 people died.
