In Moscow taxi driver robbed a British fan on two million rubles

The taxi driver from Tajikistan suspected of stealing watches, cash and mobile from the British fans. On Monday, July 9, RIA Novosti reported citing a source in law enforcement bodies.

According to the publication, on Sunday, 57-year-old fan went to the police with a statement that he had lost Rolex wristwatch, iPhone and money. The total damage amounted to about two million rubles.

On the same day, law enforcement officers detained 30-the summer taxi driver. A native of Tajikistan admitted that he committed the theft in the early morning in the car. Concerning it criminal case is brought.

A similar incident occurred a day earlier, on Saturday. One of Britain robbed in a Moscow taxi, buy coffee, after which he lost consciousness. According to police, the victim was a BBC journalist accredited to work in Russia during the world Cup.

26 June, unidentified persons stole the fan from Saudi Arabia 15.5 million rubles, promising to arrange a flight from Moscow to Volgograd for him and his comrades. Applied to the fan police handed the suspect 110 thousand dollars and 120 thousand Euro for services and expenses, after which he disappeared.
