International scientific-educational school will open in July on the Yamal Peninsula. The project involves Russian and German scientists from the Tyumen and Westphalian universities. This was reported by TASS in the Department on science and innovations of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district.
“Students will be able to gain experience of field research and to form a better understanding of ecological processes in the Arctic,” said the officials.
The aim of the project is to create a platform for learning and development of students from Russia and Germany new research methods in the field of soil science, ecology, biology and other Sciences.
According Yamal, the science Department, last year Russian and foreign students surveyed suffered from fires in different years, areas in the tundra. And in 2019 in the region awaiting the arrival of Swiss students studying construction in the permafrost, ecology and history of the Arctic.
