Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak regretted the lack in Russia of industrial robots. According to him, in Russia on 10 thousand workers have only three industrial robot, whereas the world average, the figure is 69 units. The Deputy Prime Minister said quoted by the Agency TASS.
“We have 10 of thousands of workers have only three industrial robot. However, on average, worldwide — 69, and in the countries with the highest level of digitalization, more than 100”, — said Kozak at the exhibition “Innoprom-2018”.
Vice Prime Minister also noted that in Russia there is a strong depreciation of productive capacity. As an example, he cited the processing sector, where the average age of the funds is 19 years, metallurgy — 17, and in the chemical industry — 14 years.
In late March, experts of the Russian Academy predicted that about half of employed Russians now, that is about 42,13 million people will lose their jobs due to the introduction of robots and automated production lines. Experts note that this is an irreversible process.
