Members of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai supported the draft law on pension reform, noting that it needs to be adapted to the far Eastern specificity. It is reported by TASS on Tuesday, July 10.
Deputies of State Meeting of Yakutia also recommended the state Duma to pass a bill to raise the retirement age in the first reading. However, they noted the need to preserve benefits for citizens working in the far North, in particular, the right to early retirement.
16 Jun cabins, introduced to the state Duma a package of bills on changes in the pension system. In particular, it provides a gradual increase in age of retirement to 65 years for men (by 2028) and up to 63 years for women (to 2034). The increase is proposed to carry out in stages from next year.
For the first time, raising the retirement age announced by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The Kremlin noted that this step caused serious demographic changes in the country. The changes will significantly increase the size of pension payments. Meanwhile the majority of Russians negatively perceive pension reform. For this reason, the analysis of the provisions of the law joined the community. They must ensure effective communication between the government and the society.
