Ukraine has prepared sanctions against “anti-Ukrainian literature”

The state Committee of Ukraine for television and radio broadcasting wants to introduce sanctions against 12 Russian publishers and sites that produce literature the “anti-content”. This is stated in the message of the state Committee.

The Committee believes that the content of the publications included in the list, aimed at the elimination of independence of Ukraine, propaganda of violence, incitement of interethnic, racial, religious hostility, committing terrorist attacks, encroachment on the rights and freedoms of the individual.

At the moment the list includes 184 books from Russia. Among them are the works of Zakhar Prilepin, Eduard Limonov, Aleksandr Dugin, Anatoly Tereshchenko. Sanctions will be imposed in respect of publishing house “Veche”, “Eksmo”, “tsentrpoligraf”, Algorithm.

“The Committee prepared and sent for approval to the concerned authorities a draft Executive order, which provides for the imposition of sanctions for 12 legal entities of the Russian Federation (9 3 publishers and owners of websites that offer for sale literature anti-Ukrainian content,” the statement reads.
