In Russia about 15 million people are paid according to gray schemes, not paying taxes or not paying them fully. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova on radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
“More or less adequate to the figure of 15 million, we think so,” she said. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister stressed that until mid-2019, the government will introduce a mechanism of “whitewashing” salaries.
In 2017, first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov reported that the annual volume of “shadow” salaries of Russians is more than 10 trillion rubles. Among the possible solutions to the problem, the Finance Minister called increase in the rates of indirect taxes and lowering interest rates direct.
In early July the Minister of labour and social protection Maxim Topilin said that from the beginning of 2018, the real incomes of Russians grow at an unprecedented pace.
