In Novy Urengoy fired paramedics who refused to carry a 92-year-old veteran to the hospital. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YANAO).
During public Prosecutor’s check it turned out that the chief doctor of the station were allowed to leave the veteran at home and don’t drive. At the meeting of the medical control Commission of hospital nurses and the head physician of the ambulance, it was decided to punish. The doctors wrote a statement on their own. The fate of the head of the clinic is not yet resolved.
The incident occurred on June 27. At the day 92-year-old veteran became ill and he called an ambulance. Came to call the doctors for several hours refused to take the man to the hospital, because I didn’t want to spoil the mortality in ambulance cars.
The pensioner was taken to the intensive care unit only when the relatives have wrote the receipt about absence of claims in case of death of the patient on the road. The man was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
